Root Canal Treatment

Quite often, the reason a tooth aches is due to an inflamed (or already dead) nerve. Without treatment the inflammation will expand into surrounding tissues like bone and can have severe consequences for the rest of the body. During root canal treatment the nerve is removed and the canal cleansed with special instruments and rinsed with an antiseptic solution.
